Christmas in Cape Breton

I've had a dream for many years of having Christmas at our old family home in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  Like so many dreams, this one is neither practical or possible.  Sigh...

I don't remember how I found your blog. I've been following for a long time and still when a new post from Babylon Sisters shows up in my feed it is the first one I open. I love the glimpse into your world. Thank you for the great pictures. It gives a bit of a dream to get me through the day. Christmas in a cabin on Cape Breton sounds lovely. Be warned though, the frozen world has some drawbacks.😳. So from far off Edmonton, I wish you the merriest of seasons.

My heart grows stiller as I imagine myself in such a lovely setting.
Merry Christmas, Mary.

Thank you Lori! I grew up in Nova Scotia so I know that the fantasy of these pictures is not the same as the freezing cold of the old house with electric heat and no insulation. Happy Holidays to you!!

Hey I live on the East Coast in an old house with no insulation. It's very possible! (Add pictures here of the kids and I wrapped in blankets making toast).
