In The Weeds

"In the weeds" is an expression anyone who has waited tables is familiar with.  It means you've lost control of the whole situation...

Due to a very long list of things going on, I'm currently "in the weeds" in real life...

Hoping to gain a semblance of control and composure soon...

Sorry your drink took so long, they're backed up at the bar...

Oh dear! Then I best not order dessert.
I promise a big tip, however...

I hope you're holding up ok out there.

Never heard the 'weeds' phrase before, well not in the form you use, I know it in its actual form as in ... my garden needs work in coz it is covered in weeds!' hope your particular weed problem sorts itself out soon x

Hope you're able to find your way out of the Weeds and a sense of being back in control of things. Hugs from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
