Why Don't You...?

I keep wondering about these Boston bomber guys - what could they possibly have been thinking?  The words that keep coming up in the media are "radicalized" and "self-radicalized".  It seems now as if their Mother was even kind of going along with it.  If anyone in our family had decided to become "self-radicalized", our mother would have given us a good crack - yes, even at 19.

So, as usual, I'm trying to figure out why RADICAL had to equal BAD.  I'm proposing that we get radical this week!  Why don't you...

Drive in a RADICALLY kind manner.  Let EVERYONE go.  Stop for pedestrians.

Choose EXTREMELY good food for your family.

Dress RADICALLY you.  Wear what makes you happy.  Do not even THINK the words 'age appropriate'.

Go to an EXTREME amount of fuss when you set the table.  Use ALL the good stuff...

Decorate your kitchen in a RADICALLY personal way.  Say no to the tyranny of granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances!

Be well-read.  This is EXTREMELY helpful in learning to be tolerant of  other people with different beliefs.

Be RADICALLY kind.

I couldn't agree more with you more, especially about the "tyranny of granite countertops and stainless steel appliances."

That being said, if anyone reading this likes it and can afford it - that's awesome too!
