I don't seem to be dying my hair anymore.  I have a box of extra light neutral blonde in my bathroom ready to go.  It isn't going.  Growing my hair out is exciting - it feels like I'm going to get to see who I really am!

It seems like having hair that is long and grey is (still!) kind of a revolutionary act.  I adore revolutionary acts!  Now I HAVE to do it...

Welcome, fellow revolutionary! I stopped coloring my hair about two years ago, and I'm so happy I did. Mine isn't all gray, mostly it's salt & pepper with a wide silver streak in the front. The only person in my life who doesn't like it is my Dad...I think it must make him feel old to have a daughter with gray hair :-/
I think a long mane of silver hair looks...(wait for it)...AWESOME! Hehe ;-)

Oh, my goodness, I knew we were kindred spirits as soon as I saw this...I, too, stopped coloring my (long) hair about three years's totally grown out, but is still "salt& pepper", not the awesome color yours is...(though I didn't want to color, if I could get the shade you are getting naturally, I would!)I've just discovered your lovely blog, and am now following! So nice to "meet" you! ♥

Well you have a luxurious head of hair so you're totally ROCKING the long Natural color of it... which is Lovely I might add! I've kept my hair long well into my Senior years... right now I have it braided in Corn-Rows... I say wear Hair and Fashion that feels right for you and makes you feel good... regardless of popular opinion. I'm totally with you on Adoring Revolutionary Acts! My younger Grandkids are puzzled anytime I look "Normal" {their words not mine... Normal is only a setting on the Dryer in my humble opinion, winks}... so I no longer try to tone it down when I go to meet the Teacher or something, they told me they like that I'm "different" than the other Parents and Grammas. *Winks* Blessings and a high five on the Revolutionary Acts... Dawn... The Bohemian

Thanks so much for the comments. Just to clarify, these photos are not me. My hair isn't grey enough yet to tell how it will look - that's the exciting bit!
