Wild Gypsy Art - Gertrude Degenhardt

Years ago, before the storm, I saw this print hanging in an Irish pub in New Orleans.

I loved the Irish wildness of it!  The artist is Gertrude Degenhardt who is actually from Germany and moved to Ireland to live and paint.

Her paintings have a gothic edge and a beautiful feeling of movement.  They speak to my wild gypsy soul.  What do you think?
